What a special way to personalize an outfit. This handcrafted sterling silver brooch features a beautiful apple green natural chrysoprase gemstone.
The gem measures about 1/2" x 1/4". The entire pin measures about 2" long and 2" wide. The pin stem is about 1 ".
This one of a kind brooch was made using several jewelry making techniques. The leaves are foldformed and the stem is made with a traditional Japanese casting technique called Mitsuro. Both of these processes are designed to create natural looking forms from metal.
I have given the sterling silver a slightly iridescent patina.
You can wear this pin on a jacket lapel, on a scarf or even on a blouse.
